We held a Family Light party on 29th October from 5pm - 6.30pm. This was our alternative to Hallowe'en....so, no ghosts, witches or ghoulies, but lots of traditional games, hot dogs and crafts including make-your-own glow bugs with glowing bottoms!
Saturday 10th September : a great day of fun and games was had by all ages, despite the weather! There were alligators and snakes from Crocodiles of the World, side shows, crafts, face painting and lots more! Kidlington Abundance pressed apples into delicious apple juice, and there was great live music and tasty snacks and cream teas. Admission was free - we were FUN raising not fundraising - and it was lovely to see lots of people there!
Holiday @ Home 2016 took place at the end of July. This is an annual holiday club for those of “more mature” years. The week is packed with a range of activities, a cooked lunch each day, lots of tea and cake and good company. This year’s highlights included a coach trip to Southsea and Portsmouth and a visit from Hands On Oxfordshire’s Heritage team.
